Celebrity Vet’s Second Chance by Ann McIntosh

A few words from author Ann McIntosh . . .

A reluctant, well-travelled celebrity and a frustrated country vet, longing for adventure. One charming, the other, well, not exactly grumpy, but certainly not outgoing. I love a contrast of characters, and when they have diametrically opposed life goalsā€¦such fun! Throw in the lovely Low Country of South Carolina, and let the love flow.

– Ann

Ann’s Editor, Rachael Says . . .

This is a gorgeous, heartwarming hug of a book! Youā€™ll feel instantly caught up in the small-town setting and the delicious second-chance longing between our handsome heroes. And if that werenā€™t enough, Ann has added some adorable animals, droolworthy soul food, and a pinch of spice ā€“ of the sexy variety ā€“ to deliver a story that readers are sure to love!

A Governess to Redeem Him by Lotte R. James

A few words from author Lotte R. James . . .

Juliana has begged for her HEA since her first appearance in The Marquess of Yew Park House, so it was finally time to write hers and Sebastian’s tale. I also admittedly wanted to play with the classic revenge tale, and further explore the themes of justice, and making peace with one’s past, all wrapped in an achingly beautiful tale of love. Just as Sebastian and Juliana’s love cannot be forgotten, so I hope A Governess to Redeem Him lives in readers’ hearts for years to come.Ā

– Lotte

Lotte’s Editor, Hannah says . . .

If the BrontĆ«s and du Maurier were your first literary loves, then you’re in for a Gothic treat with A Governess to Redeem Him! In this sweeping historical romance, a governess’s first love is back from the dead and, together, they must confront the past that continues to haunt them…

The Last Guy You Kiss by Carla de Guzman

A few words from author Carla de Guzman . . .

The Last Guy You Kiss is my ode to the Filipino romcom and all the messy things that come with itā€”families, cute boys, a good wedding (or two!) and a nice little urban legend to tie it all in. If you like a nice, classic slow burn romantic comedy between the Eldest Asian Daughter and The Youngest Who Stepped Up, and 30-something woes, you might like this one!

– Carla

Carla’s Editor, John Says . . .

Carla de Guzman writes the heck out of a delicious slow burn. In The Last Guy You Kiss, readers will be swept away by this tender, swoon-worthy reimagining of a classic Filipino romcom film and fall in love with Carlaā€™s snappy banter and the lovable chaos of the weddings her hero and heroine attend.

Princess for the Headlines by Heidi Rice

A few words from author Heidi Rice. . .

Rene and Mel first appeared in Queenā€™s Winter Wedding Charade, and all I knew about them at that point was that he was the neighbouring playboy prince who Queen Isabella’s trusty assistant Mel couldnā€™t standā€¦ The sexual tension, though, was off the charts, even in that brief scene together! But it wasnā€™t until I started writing Princess for the Headlines that I discovered WHY Mel couldnā€™t stand him. And yup, their scorching chemistry, Melā€™s tender heart and Reneā€™s determination never to care too deeply about anyone had a lot to do with itā€¦ Then I decided to trap them in a mountain cabin in a snow storm ā€“ and force them to grapple with their painful past, Reneā€™s serious commitment issues and all that scorching hot chemistry ā€“ while both trying not to get burned. Againā€¦ And the results, I hope you will agree, were absolutely devastating for them both ā€“ in the most delicious way possible.

– Heidi

Heidi’s Editor, Bryony says . . .

What happens when you come face to face with a man you once had a scorching one night stand with ā€“ who then ghosted you? This is how this story starts and Heidi delivers such a fast-paced, dramatic, sexy read ā€“ thoroughly recommend this very steamy royal story!

Unlikely Neighbours by Renee Daniel Flagler

A few words from author Renee Daniel Flagler . . .

I’ll admit that I got a bit emotional while working on Holland and Noble’s story in Unlikely Neighbors. Other times, I swooned, danced, lip-synced, and laughed out loud. I also ripped a few things right out of real life. What specifically? I’ll never tell. Or, I will. Either way, I hope you love this small-town womanā€™s journey of self-discovery that takes an unexpected detour when she inherits a Brooklyn brownstoneā€”complete with one hot next-door neighborā€”in this sexy, emotional contemporary romance.

– Renee

Renee’s Editor, Glenda Says . . .

In Unlikely Neighbors, Renee Daniel Flagler deftly delivers a stirring and powerful story about second chances. Holland Davenport is ready to move from her small town to Charleston, but the inheritance of a Brooklyn brownstone halts her plans. Holland decides to quickly sell the building, but after sorting through her relativeā€™s belongings she finds a journal that reveals shocking family secrets. In the midst of this discovery, Holland meets the gorgeous next-door neighbor, Noble Washington, and they have an instant connection. As Holland and Noble grow close, they will encounter challenges that will test their new relationship. Readers are sure to enjoy following the coupleā€™s emotional journey in this memorable and satisfying romance.

His Strictly Off-limits Ballerina by Kate Hardy

A few words from author Kate Hardy . . .

Iā€™d just been to see a performance of Matthew Bourneā€™s Sleeping Beauty at my local theatre when my editor asked me to write a fairytale book. I leaped at the idea of writing a Sleeping Beauty tale, but sadly no amount of begging would persuade her to let me do it as a vampire book šŸ˜‰ But when I came up with a different angle on how ā€˜Sleeping Beautyā€™ could fall asleep (bear in mind I also write Medical Romance!), she agreed to let me gender-swap it. Knowing that Iā€™m a huge ballet fan (my Silver Swans class on Friday morning is the highlight of my week), she also agreed to let me have a ballerina heroine. I loved every second of working on this book, and enjoyed playing a lot of ballet music in the background  as I wrote. My springer spaniels (who used to join in with zoom ballet classes during lockdown, by sitting on the chair I was using as a barre and then standing up to wash my face when the teacher said ā€˜riseā€™, much to the enjoyment of my classmates) also appreciated the music!

– Kate

Kate’s Editor, Jenny Says . . .

Prepare to be spun off your feet by Kate Hardyā€™s latest release! Kate writes romances full of joy and warmth, and His Strictly Off-Limits Ballerina is no exception. This is an utterly gorgeous story about two people who could not be more perfect for one anotherā€”if only bad timing and professional boundaries werenā€™t standing in their way! Pippa and Roryā€™s connection leaps off the page right from the start, and watching them fall in love amidst the beauty and glamour of the ballet world is a true delight. So, what are you waiting for? Don your pointe shoes and pirouette over to pick up a copy now!
