Royal Bride Demand by LaQuette

A few words from author LaQuette . . .

Having the opportunity to write Black royalty and Brooklyn in one story was something I couldn’t pass up. This project was the perfect merging of my passions of Black history and culture, Black representation within romance specifically, and the larger landscape of popular media, and romance novels. Royal Bride Demand features a strong Black Crown Prince and an equally strong Black Billionaire heroine from Brooklyn. This book was a chance for me to write a fun, dramatic royal story while exploring Blackness and culture from within the Diaspora. This allowed me to add in a few key interesting historical moments, like the New York Slave Conspiracy of 1741, as historical background for the fictional kingdom of Nyeusi. So, if history, culture, and royalty are your thing, Royal Bride Demand is definitely for you.

– LaQuette

LaQuette’s Editor, Rachael says . . .

I adore LaQuette’s fresh, lush prose – her writing is so rich that you can’t help but be drawn into her world. Readers will love Royal Bride Demand for no-nonsense Brooklyn businesswoman Reigna, who unexpectedly finds herself having to marry her ex Jasiri, not realising he’s the heir to an island nation! Expect gorgeous palaces, soul-searching second chances, and tons of spice – you will love it!

Falling for His Fake Date by Juliette Hyland

A few words from author Juliette Hyland . . .

I love fake dating tropes. LOVE THEM. So when thinking up Frankie and Decker’s story, I decided to twist the idea. Because Frankie knows they are fake dating but her hero has no idea…until he is head over heels for her. Getting to play with the dynamic of one character knowing, and feeling guilty, and the other one figuring out the first three dates were set ups and coming to grip with what meant, made  giving Frankie and Decker their happily ever so satisfying as an author. I hope you enjoy this twist on the fake dating trope!

– Juliette

Juliette’s Editor, Helena Says . . .

This fake-dating, matchmaking, opposites attract romance is the definition of feel-good. Frankie’s the brand new hire at an exclusive matchmaking company, and Decker is their millionaire client who’s perfect on paper but can’t seem to get past the third date… So of course Frankie’s drafted in to investigate why, through the power of fake dating! Their tender, steamy and oh-so-charming romance is full of brilliant banter, some gloriously unsuitable fake date ideas, and so, so much heart. Decker’s emotional story had me welling up and I defy any reader to do anything but fall head over heels for the sunshiney Frankie – I know I did! Another brilliant dose of Hyland magic: treat yourself today!

A Single Dad to Heal Him by Traci Douglass

A few words from author Traci Douglass. . .

A Single Dad to Heal Him is about second chances, found family, and finding home again in the place where you started. Val and Dev’s journey back to love was such a blessing to write, as was Cam and his Lego obsession! They really are special characters, and I hope you enjoy reading about them as well.

– Traci

Traci’s Editor, Annie says . . .

If you’re looking for a heartwarming story of healing and found family, look no further than Traci Douglass. Traci’s warm, witty writing is instantly captivating, and she has a knack for creating irresistibly loveable characters who you can’t help but route for. A Single Dad to Heal Him is an uplifting story about finding your person in an unexpected place, and it’s brimming with queer joy and yearning that make it absolutely impossible to put down!

Once Upon You and Me by Timothy Janovsky

A few words from author Timothy Janovsky . . .

Once Upon You and Me is not your father’s fairy tale. Who is more off-limits than your boss’s ex-husband? Taylor Frost must contend with that scintillating question when he gets sent to Storybook Endings Resort in the Catskills to prepare for his boss’s daughter’s sweet sixteen and ends up sharing a charming cottage with the sexy mountain man manager who also happens to be the birthday girl’s father. Sprinkled with extra pixie dust, I wrote this story to remind us that Happily ever Afters are for everyone!

– Timothy

Timothy’s Editor, John Says . . .

Timothy Janovsky’s latest book Once Upon You and Me is a heartfelt, moving, and spicy gay romance that explores age gap relationships, forbidden romance, and how everyone deserves a fairy-tale ending. His snappy banter, his homage to classic stories, and his character’s electric chemistry are perfect for romance readers who want to believe that Happily Ever Afters happen in real life.
