I wanted to write a Regency series with my friends Lucy Morris, Sarah Rodi and Ella Matthews and the ‘A Season to Wed’ quartet is the result. My book is the first and it’s a marriage of convenience story—only my second marriage of convenience romance in 30 books! It’s also not a slow burn, which is also odd for me, so expect some sparks from these two very early on. As I never know what is going to happen in my stories until the words flow out of my fingers, those insta-sparks came as quite a surprise to me too, I can tell you! But these two reluctant newly weds were fun to write.
