Tina Beckett on Christmas with her characters

Here’s author Tina Beckett telling us a little Christmas secret alongside today’s competition to win a copy of ‘Playboy Doc’s Mistletoe Kiss’ and ‘Her Doctor’s Christmas Proposal,’AND a night’s stay for 2 at The Swan Hotel & Spa, Lavenham in Suffolk on a B&B basis, including the use of the spa! Quick, enter now!

“If I could spend Christmas with one of my characters it would be…Jack Perry (How to Find a Man in Five Dates), and here’s why…

Jack has this enticing flirty façade that had me falling in love with him the moment I began writing his story. But he also has a dark past that he tries to push down and keep hidden—even from himself. On the surface, Jack is a golden-haired surfer dude from California who finds himself on the ski slopes of Colorado. He is totally out of his element in the ice and snow, in fact he wipes out on his very first run down the slopes.

I wanted to swoop in and rescue him (because I’m just nice like that, you know).

To top off a scrumptious—slightly tortured—hero, the book also contains elements that I love: a snowy setting, cozy sleigh rides, and some steamy moments in front of a roaring fire. I mean who could resist a stolen kiss or two from a hero like Jack? Or miss out on the chance to heal his broken heart and show him what real love is all about? Not this girl, that’s for sure!”

Thanks Tina – he sounds sexier than a mince-pie stuffed Santa squeezing his way down a chimney, that’s for sure! Don’t forget to enter the competition now!
