What made you decide you wanted to publish a romance?

Simply because I adore reading romance the most! I truly believe that a story of unfolding love is so magical. I love going on the emotional journey with characters with the ups and downs of blossoming romance.

How much inspiration from your own life did you put into Meet Me in London?

So much! For Meet Me in London it had to be set in Chelsea. I wanted to pepper some of the magic from Made in Chelsea into the first book! I used to get goosebumps when we shot a scene in what is in my opinion the most charming and enchanting area of London. Anything can happen in Chelsea and this is certainly mirrored in the book.

What are some of your favourite romance novels of all time?

The Notebook and The Fault in Our Stars!

What about some of your favourite romance TV shows/films?

I am a BIG Richard Curtis fan! Notting Hill, Love Actually, About Time, Four Weddings and a Funeral! Asides from these I adore A Star is Born and Jerry Maguire.

What do you think are some of the most important qualities in a romantic hero?

Kindness and generosity with his time and love.

Do you think you’re more of a Victoria, Malie, Zoe or Lily?

So hard, probably Victoria. However there are some qualities in all four of the girls that I’m sure my friends see in me!

Meet Me in London is the first book in a series of four. What can you tell us about the next books in the series?

You will travel the world following these four strong women! If the first book doesn’t emphasise their bond enough, by the end of the series you will have had a front row seat in such a special story of ups down and most importantly friendship and love.

What are you reading at the moment?

Olive by Emma Gannon
