Getting to know Dr James Rothsberg: Hollywood Hills Clinic

The staff at the Hollywood Hills Clinic are renowned for being dedicated lifesavers, but we managed to steal a quick moment with the dashing Dr James Rothsberg. What’s really going on behind those mesmerising eyes?

What would you consider your special talent?

My profession. I strive to be the best possible plastic surgeon.

Tell us something you’ve never told anyone before.

I stopped using texting as a form of communication the day I broke off my engagement to Mila Brightman.

Can you describe yourself in ten words or less?

Focused. Driven. I need to get things done.

If you were granted three wishes, what would you ask for?

I would only need to ask for one wish, because it would cover everything I can think of: the ability to go back and undo a mistake I made before I got engaged.

What really moves you, or touches you to the soul?

The way my ex-fiancée cares so deeply about others.

Is there anything you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t done?

I used to want to go on a medical mission to help children in developing countries who have some kind of physical defect, but since I no longer work on children that isn’t possible.

What brought you to the Hollywood Hills Clinic, and what keeps you there (be honest!)

I founded the clinic, so I have to stay. Plus I think everyone has a right to privacy—something my parents and I struggled with as I was growing up—so I do my very best to provide that to everyone who walks through the doors to my clinic.
