Snowed-In Enemies by Bella Mason

A few words from author Bella Mason…

If you’re a fan of enemies to lovers, forced proximity, fake dating stories then you’ll love Snowed-In Enemies. He’s a racing champion and she’s a sports journalist. He got her fired from her dream job at the start of her career and she’s determined to make the world see that he’s an overrated has-been. They will never overcome their hate for each other…that, is until fate traps them together in a snowstorm. That’s when hate turns to passion.

I’ve loved single seater racing my whole life having started watching it back in the Senna/Prost/Mansell days, so it was wonderful to immerse myself in that world while writing Snowed-In Enemies. Parts of it were even written while watching races at 3am!

– Bella

Bella’s Editor, Helena Says…

Another show-stopper from Bella Mason! It may be cold (ice-cold!) outside but Katherine and Lukas’ enemies-to-lovers tension is already turning the heat up sky-high–even before a snowstorm traps them in a luxurious cabin together, with nowhere to hide from their ferocious desire… Set in the glamorous world of F1 but perfect for lovers of the sport and novices alike, Snowed-In Enemies is a high-octane emotional rollercoaster, with two perfectly complex main characters you won’t be able to resist (any more than they can resist each other…despite their best efforts!)

How to Fake Date Her Billionaire by Clare Miles

A few words from author Clare Miles

I love a fake dating story because the stakes are so high! The couple have to pretend to everyone they’re in love. For Nic and Ellie, the stakes are even higher because they’ve known each other forever and their families are thrilled by the news they’re together.

That made for great fun as I sent Nic and Ellie to the most swoon-worthy events, and watched the sparks fly and their increasingly desperate attempts to convince themselves they had ‘it’ all under control. But of course they didn’t, not even close, as they fought feelings for each other which were anything but fake…

– Clare

Clare’s Editor, Helena Says…

Clare’s truly gorgeous debut for Mills & Boon Love Always has everything you need for a snowy day in – a heroine you can’t help but root for, a  super-dashing hero who’ll steal your heart, a healthy serving of billion-dollar glamour and SO much delicious emotion! All that, plus the fun of a fake relationship in the glare of the spotlight, and some crackling chemistry… I adored both Nic and Ellie and their heart-warming (and sometimes heart-rending) romance, and know you will too!

A Marquess to Remember by Jenni Fletcher

A few words from author Jenni Fletcher…

What would happen if you woke up one morning with no memory of the past month, to find yourself married to a man you despise – worse, a marquess who thinks you’re a gold-digging, backstabbing social climber?

I was out walking my dog when this opening scene burst into my head and I had to immediately rush home and write it. A Marquess to Remember combines my favourite tropes (enemies-to-lovers meets forced proximity) in a story about healing, forgiveness and being true to yourself, even when everyone else doubts you.

– Jenni

Jenni’s Editor, Annie says…

I can’t wait for readers to get their hands on this stunning Regency romance! Jenni’s writing always has that delicious whisk-you-away charm that makes her books impossible to put down, and A Marquess to Remember is no exception. The characters are so vivid that they really jump off the page, and you won’t be able to help investing in their love story right from the outset. It stayed with me long after I finished reading, and I still think about them often.

Combining sparkling historical high-society glam with a masterfully written amnesia trope, A Marquess to Remember is a book that’s true to its title: you won’t be able to forget it!

Hot Nights with the Paramedic by Carol Marinelli

A few words from author Carol Marinelli…

Some heroes and heroines don’t arrive in my mind’s eye fully formed and I have to coax them out to get to know them. However, when Luke appeared it was a case of love at first sight! I could see him and I felt I knew him.

For that reason, I completely understood Monica’s dilemma. I knew her too. She’s wanted to be a mother for a long time and it’s not an idle want. She’s an obstetrician, professionally at the top of her game but knows if she is to have a baby that time is not on her side.  She doesn’t want a casual fling with a guy who’s not interested in a serious relationship, let alone fatherhood. Luke’s so gorgeous though and makes her busy, ordered life, suddenly brighter and more impulsive and fun. Oh, and the sex is brilliant too

So, while I understood Monica’s dilemma, I didn’t know the answer.

But then the problem was taken out of my hands when the Luke I thought I knew so well suddenly surprised me (and Monica!). As a paramedic he has seen and dealt with a lot, but when a job unexpectedly breaks him his world turns dark. Of course, he doesn’t reach out, instead he pulls back… This wasn’t a part of my plan at the outset, it was supposed to be sexy and fun!

I am in awe of first responders who are there for us in difficult times despite the emotional cost to themselves. There was a deeper side to Luke, and I loved finding him out.

I hope you do to.

– Carol

Carol’s Editor, Flo says…

No-one writes medical drama like Carol! From the very first page, she whisks you into the world of paramedic first responders with an intensity and drama that is impossible to resist. I adored how she balanced the dark and light in this book, and I hope readers do too!
