Church Girl by Naima Simone
A few words from author Naima Simone . . .
Of course, Iâm biased about why you should read Church Girl. LOL! But if you love fish out of water, grumpy/sunshine stories with a runaway bride and a sexy, growly single dad tattoo artist then youâll love Church Girl. I am a sucker for a good girl/bad boy – especially a dirty talking bad boy – and this has that in abundance. And did I mention the heat? Sooo much heat. Have I sold it yet? đ
– Naima
Naima’s Editor, Stacy Says . . .
Iâve never met a single dad as sexy as the one Naima has written in Church Girl. She makes their grumpy-sunshine, good girl-bad boy vibes jump off the page. Her writing is always so steamy and tender, a mix of heart and heat you donât want to miss.

Melting Dr Grumpy’s Frozen Heart by Scarlet Wilson
A few words from author Scarlet Wilson . . .
Christmas stories are always my favourites and I was delighted to get to set this story in Edinburgh, in a frosty, snowy location where you can practically smell the festive spirit in the air.
I used my favourite grumpy/sunshine trope for my characters, and made them work hard for their happy ever after. Thereâs something special about a Christmas story in a hospital setting because it lets me show how hard our NHS staff work and how their work life can impact on their everyday life too. Hopefully you love the Christmas spirit as much as I do!
– Scarlet
Scarlet’s Editor, Carly says . . .
Readers will fall under Scarlet Wilsonâs Christmas spell as this grumpy doc meets his match in his Miss Sunshine colleague when they team up for a groundbreaking medical research project. Scarletâs charming, warm and festive romance is perfect to get readers in the Christmas spirit!

Christmas Bride’s Stand-In Groom by Sophie Pembroke
A few words from author Sophie Pembroke . . .
Have you ever had one of those blame it on the mistletoe moments? Millie has. She was all set for a very convenient marriage to her best friend, one which would solve both their problems with one quick ‘I do.’ But now her fiancĂŠ has been called away on business and she’s stuck organising a Christmas wedding with the best man…the very gorgeous, very charming, very not-marriage-material Giles. But that mistletoe is awfully tempting. Could she really have one last fling before the ring – and still walk down the aisle with her heart intact afterwards?
– Sophie
Sophie’s Editor, Sheila Says . . .
Sophie Pembroke is such a wonderfully emotional writer, she digs deep into the heart of her characters and fabulously evokes their experience of the time and place they find themselves in. In this case, itâs amidst all of the tensions of planning a Christmas wedding – and a resulting very forbidden love! Itâs also the first of a festive, fun, intense duet, Blame it on the Mistletoe with the second book from Jessica Gilmore. I urge you not to miss this gorgeous Christmas treat!

The Knight’s Bride Prize by Ella Matthews
A few words from author Ella Matthews . . .
Readers will love the way strong, talented knight, Hugh, is brought to his knees by feisty heroine, Bronwen. The pair battle their desire for one another, aware that no good can come of a union between them. As the passion spills over into something more, they have to decide between love and duty. Set in the sweeping backdrop of medieval Wales, this story was inspired by a family visit to Kidwelly Castle, which is now a picturesque ruin in Carmarthenshire.

The Grump Whisperer by Katy James
A few words from author Katy James . . .
The Grump Whisperer is a ‘horse girl’ book with swoony romance and plenty of spice. Set at a Massachusetts horse boarding barn, itâs perfect for horse lovers and readers who love a grumpy, brooding hero, a super competent heroine, a gorgeous black stallion whoâs only in it for the snacks, and found family where the family includes a dozen horses!
– Katy
Katy’s Editor, John says . . .
No one else is making spicy emotional romances for the former and current horse girls like Katy
James. Her work has perfect emotional pitch and her grumpy heroes are a delightful mix of reserved and head-over-heels for their heroines. Her quirky animal side characters and strong themes of chosen family add just the right amount of comedic relief.
