We are absolutely delighted for Jenni and all our other shortlisted authors. The awards evening was a wonderful celebration of romance writing, hosted by Jenny Éclair and with a moving speech from Outstanding Achievement Award honouree Milly Johnson.

Jenni’s editor Linda Fildew said: ‘I’m so delighted for Jenni’s success winning the award for Miss Amelia’s Mistletoe Marquess. It’s hard to resist this sensible heroine who yearns to be more fun-loving and finds her true self with a remarkably sexy hero.  I loved working on this book with Jenni and am so proud of her achievement.’

Jenni Fletcher said: ‘I’m really, really thrilled and happy and still slightly in shock. I’m honoured to be nominated alongside such talented authors and very touched by all the congratulations and support. A huge thank you to Mills & Boon for giving me the opportunity to write and live out my dream of being an author.’
