RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show
• Closes 5th July
Set in the beautiful grounds of Hampton Court Palace, celebrate high-summer blooms, water gardens, exhibits and show gardens.
The Henley Royal Regatta
• 1st July – 5th July
The Henley Royal Regatta is the best known regatta in the world and is both one of the highlights of the summer sporting calendar and social season. Aside from the rowing, visitors can take in the ambience by enjoying the facilities within the enclosures.
British Beach Polo Championships –Sandbanks Beach, Dorset
• 10th – 11th July
The British Beach Polo Championships 2015 promises to be another phenomenal event bringing with it widespread sporting, business and social acclaim.
British 10k London Run
• 12th July
Cheer on or join in with Olympic athletes and celebrities, as well as tens of thousands of fun runners who will be raising over a million pounds for charity. Runners will pass by London’s most famous, iconic landmarks.
Bristol Harbour Festival
• 17th – 19th July
If you are a fan of art, the circus, dance, music, boats, nautical capers, fantastic food and drink, and general merriment – then make sure you put that weekend in your diary. There is truly something for everyone, no matter how old or young. Best of all, it’s a free event!
Wimbledon Championships
• 29th June – 12th July
The world of tennis descends on Wimbledon for two weeks of professional world-class tennis, Pimm’s and strawberries and cream. It’s the world’s longest-running and most prestigious tennis tournament so don’t miss out on the fun.
BBC Proms
• 17th July – 12th September
The greatest classical music festival on earth returns to London’s Royal Albert Hall. Enjoy concerts and performances from a diverse range of artists.
Race For Life, Hyde Park
• 19th July
Up the challenge and declare war on cancer by taking part in a Race for Life 2015 10k event. Run, walk or even dance your way around the scenic course in and around Hyde Park, past Serpentine Lake and through Kensington Gardens.
Sky Ride
• 12th July – 20th September
Sky Ride is an annual series of cycle events held across the UK throughout the summer. Find out where your local Sky Ride event will be taking place so that you can join in too!
Summer Breeze with Fireworks on the Quay, Poole
• 23rd July, 30th July, 6th August, 13th August, 20th August & 27th August
This evening event welcomes thousands of revellers who enjoy live music and a host of varied street entertainment. There are fun activities for all the family, special themed nights and a spectacular fireworks finale.
Buckingham Palace Summer Opening
• 25th July – 27th September
Explore the lavishly furnished State Rooms while the Royal family is on their summer holiday. This year’s special exhibition, A Royal Welcome, focuses on the magic and magnificence of an official visit to Buckingham Palace. Find out about the preparations for official royal events, state visits, and the Queen’s famous garden parties.
Notting Hill Carnival

The streets of West London will come alive to celebrate Europe’s biggest street festival. With a Caribbean theme packed with steel bands, Calypso music and tempting food stalls, the Notting Hill Carnival is a huge party. And everyone is invited!
Bristol International Balloon Fiesta
• 6th – 9th August
The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is Europe’s largest hot air balloon event with four days of fun for the whole family.
Festival of Wildlife
• 15th – 16th August
This festival is a two day event that aims to increase the profile of Kent Wildlife Trust. With tasty food stalls, live folk music, engaging talks, demonstrations and guided walks, there’s lots of fun to be had.
British Fireworks Championships, Plymouth
• 18th – 19th August
Six firework companies battle over two nights for the title of British Fireworks Champion. Expect a music stage, Morris dancing, fairground rides and spectacular fireworks!
